Beautiful scenery, especially in the summer. The wildlife is exquisite as I've seen quite a variety rare birds here. The same pair of swans come every year to mate and have their sygnets. They are tame.They walk to your door and tap it for food . They are happy for you to feed the babies. Great fishing lakes, peaceful, bar on site with restaurant. Accommodation available, excellent customer service ensuring that anything u require, is no trouble. Friendly staff and owners.

Toilets could be a bit cleaner but my husband says the fishing is good unless you're there for a match and then it's hard going.

Me and my friend had a good day fishing We will be back we had plenty of fish and it was a nice place to fish we will be fishing one of the big lakes next time nice and friendly so thank you

Really bad staff i dont recommend going there staff charges kids for playing with plastic rod and staff is mean not worth it

Absolutely rubbish the owner didn’t help at all payed £100 for 24hours owner couldn’t get money quick enough didn’t help or have any information about the lakes and shortly after casting in found out that it’s no more than 4-5 ft deep the swim I had bi Bindly set up on was a foot deep and wasted my money and time at lakeside fisheries and hotel. Don’t honestly think he’s even stocked the lakes we saw absolutely nothing and owner was boasting that it was good. Never go there!!!

Exceptional hospitality, Outstanding customer service.room was more than adequate for my needs. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, also the location was perfect for the towncenre .

Stayed here for 3 weeks whilst i was on a work placement in the area.When i arrived i was welcomed by the manager and booked in quickly and shown to my room. The room was clean and warm, which was good as it was freezing outside. The staff were very friendly and the food was great especially the breakfast in the morning. Overall my stay was great and i would recommend to anybody needing affordable accommodation with a friendly atmosphere.

Stayed here for over 3 weeks, as i was working locally. Excellent facilities. Rooms nice and homely, decent shower and bath in all the rooms, comfortable beds. tea and coffee supplied in each room along with a kettle. Friendly staff at the bar, along with good food which varies from night to night, The carvery shouldn't be missed on a Sunday! Will defiantly come back to here if i am every down this way again.
